Skiing in Norway

trysil.jpgI just got back today from a great week-long ski trip with Stine’s family at Trysil Resort in Norway. We took the DFDS ferry overnight from Copenhagen to Oslo, and then drove up to a 10-person cabin right by the lifts, at Trysil Højfjellsenter. It was c-c-cold (-15°C most of the time). Did a ton of snowboarding, and ate massive quantities of homemade food accompanied with flowing torrents of wine. I wish I had grown up taking family ski trips like this one.

Norway is really beautiful. I hadn’t been there since 1991, where I spent a short time in Oslo and a few days in Narvik. I’d love to go back again and explore Bergen and the fjords.
